I can't claim that I have the secret of happiness. Maybe the Dalai Lama does but for the rest of us we have to rely on words of wisdom and some acts that make perfect sense.

Let me tell you the story of Amanda. Amanda used to be around 300 lbs and that bothered her. Not only was it a serious health risk, but it brought a whole series of other issues. So, she decided to get bariatric surgery and she returned to her ideal weight.

Some time after this, her fiance broke up with her. Now Amanda had both physical and emotional scars to carry with her.

That's when she decides to call me and have a boudoir session. And during the session she told me that in five years that they had been together, her fiance never told her "You're beautiful."
